"She seeketh wool and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands." ((Proverbs 31:13)

Hello dear friends! I must admit that I have missed my special times with you over these past weeks. Where, oh where does time go so quickly? Since we took our Christmas tree and decorations down last week, everything looks so bare.
Can you believe its already the middle of January! I'm pretty sure time is marching on much quicker than it used to! LOL The decorations are so festive and fun, and you're right, everything looks bare without them. Hopefully, you have been stitching, or will soon!
"So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the Lilies of the Field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, that even Solomon in all his glory, was not arrayed like one of these." Matt: 6: 28-29)
Needlework is my one of my greatest passions. I probably own more needlework projects than I can possibly stitch in this lifetime. Needlework helps me to connect with the more peaceful part of myself. My faith is at the center of who I am and in all that inspires me, not only to create, but in the ways in which I connect to each individual person who touches my life every day. This is an unfolding story of my faith, love and joys, as a wife, mother and grandmother, intertwined with the beauty and simplicity found in my needlework.
I know but for me I just focus on summer doings and new stitcheries for 2013 and look forward to next Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHello Kathy,
ReplyDeleteI was wondering why you've been so quiet. I thought maybe you had been sick like some of us.
Glad your okay. I will keep checking back.
Hugs!
It really does look bare with the Christmas things gone, doesn't it? Time is flying by for sure!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy. It is a bit bare here too. I put up some winter decorations a bit. Take care. Hi Meaghan.

It is hard to believe that January will soon be over, life goes quicker by the day, we have to make the most of it.
