WON'T YOU PLEASE JOIN ME FOR A SAL?

Since my last positng, I have heard from several of my followers, who suggested to me that they thought I should consider stitching "My Lovely Stitching Tools", as my next stitching project because they loved this design too!  This led me to start thinking that a SAL might be fun, since it seemed that there were others that might like to stitch along with me!  As I mentioned in my last post, this is  a current Mystery Sampler design being offered through The Gift of Stitching.  So dear friends,  I would like to extend an invitation to you, to consider joining me and a few other stitching friends ends for a SAL!
This wonderful Mystery Sampler is offered through The Gift of Stitching's online monthly magazine.  Part I of the sampler is in the August 2011 issue.  If you are not currently a subscriber toThe Gift of Stitching, monthly issues can be purchased at their website (http://www.giftofstitching.com).
I chose Weeks Dye Works and Sampler Threads instead of the recommended Valdani threads.

If you don't have a blog, and would like to participate, please email pictures of your Mystery Sampler progress and I will be happy to include them with updates of our SAL on my blog so that we can all share in the fun!  I will also post a link on my Facebook page so that pictures can be posted there as well.  More fun!  Hope that you will join us for a wonderful SAL!

  1. Count me in! But you already know that. I love the threads you're using. I'm afraid mine will be plain old DMC although I might splurge on a skein of the dark red...

  2. I hope you didn't delete my earlier comment...I was sure my post went through. You may not "know" me. I just became an official follower earlier today, but I have been reading your blog by linking through Nataly's for a few months now.

I would love to join your SAL group on this project. It looks like a fun stitch.
I rejoined The Gift of Stitching this afternoon and have printed out parts one and two. Now to choose some fabric and threads.

    Thanks.

  3. Hi Kathy: I ordered The Gift Of Stitching just for this pattern I love the cyber magazine I used to get it, I fell off the earth when I needed to renew and finally got all my marbles together.
I would like to stitch along but have too many irons in the fire and need to get cought up on other stitching.
I will however follow your progress.
    Blessings

  4. It is a lovely project and I will enjoy seeing everyone's progress. I had a little new start while I was away. I've been playing catch up ever since, but I'll get an email coming your way before too long.

Consider the Lilies of the Field

Consider the Lilies of the Field
"So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the Lilies of the Field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, that even Solomon in all his glory, was not arrayed like one of these." Matt: 6: 28-29)
