  2. Thank you for the chance to win this!! I would love to stitch it!!!!
A special memory for me is my mom making her dressing on Christmas Eve....we always sampled it when it was done. Even on my mom's last Christmas, when she had alzheimers, she made her dressing....I snapped a photo of her cutting up the ingredients for it, and I framed that photo...each year at Christmas, we bring it out. I carry on the tradition now...for my kids, who love their nan's dressing......
    Take care..
    Happy New Year!

  4. I like the pattern of the pincushion. My favorite memory of Christmas is that we played board games all day with the hole family. My mom enjoyed this time so much and since she passed away 10 years ago, we all miss her, especially with Christmas when we play the boardgames.

  5. A lovely giveaway prize - thank you for the opportunity to win it. My special memory is the threepences and sixpences that my mother would bake into the christmas pudding each year. After Australia went to decimal money in 1966, she would carefully hoard those silver coins to use in the pudding as the new money was an alloy that was poisonous if baked.

I will post about your giveaway on the sidebar of my blog as well.

    Hugs, Kaye xoxox

  6. One of my fondest Christmas memories was the time my dad got me a bicycle for Christmas and couldn't wait until morning when I woke up to see it. So he got me out of bed sometime after midnight and sat me on the bike. My reaction wasn't what he expected because I was so sleepy, only about 7 or 8 years old. So he put me back to bed and when I got up the next morning I didn't even remember what had happened earlier. I was just so excited, which made him very happy.
    I would love to win!

  9. What a gorgeous giveaway! One old tradition was finding sixpence in the Christmas pudding. They were so exciting to find and one had to make sure we didn't swallow them.

  11. What a fun idea for a giveaway Kathy and I'd love to be entered for this one. One of our family traditions was always a little bit before Christmas, when the Christmas puddings were being made and we all had to stir the pudding mixture and make a wish!

Consider the Lilies of the Field

Consider the Lilies of the Field
"So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the Lilies of the Field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, that even Solomon in all his glory, was not arrayed like one of these." Matt: 6: 28-29)
